Small, Accurate GRIB Weather Updates!

The Mscan Meteo viewer is compatible with GRIB files generated by MaxSea, Raymarine, and Saildocs.

    GRIB is simply put, a way to overlay current weather happenings on a section by section basis, over a known fixed world map located in your computer. Choose the section of the world you want, download it and unzip it into a GRIB file that your reader can use. Not all GRIB data is zipped depending on how much extended forecasting you need. Daily maps are so small compressing the file is not required however 72 hour or higher (Days) forecast's usually are.

 

WARNING!!! GRIB files can be hazardous to your health!!!

Make very sure you check the date of the files you download!!! When loading a specific file from your computer into a GRIB reader, make VERY sure it's the correct file!
